Grove

The clients wanted a gated patio that felt contemporary while also giving the impression it had always been. The foundation of that program are the beautiful handmade bricks, arranged in a herringbone, stretcher orientation to bridge between contemporary and traditional brick laying. Historic reproductions of 19th century Richmond cast-iron components further serve to anchor the patio to Place.
