Thresholds is a design / build firm in Richmond, Virginia founded and led by Joshua Delaney. With over two decades of experience across the building industry in Richmond, Joshua's range of work makes him adept at problem solving and communicating vision to everyone involved in bringing a project to life.

 

Educated at Virginia Tech's Graduate School of Architecture, in his first year Joshua was a build lead and traveled with futureHAUS to Dubai to compete in the Solar Decathlon Middle East. His architectural practice is informed by his passion for and knowledge of the built and natural environment. Working outdoors through the Virginia seasons helped shape his understanding of thoughtful design and his love of the art of building. ​​​​​​​​​​

Drawing on a rich background in architecture, art, photography, graphic design, and brand strategy, Bileg brings over a decade of experience crafting and delivering high-quality, client-focused creative solutions on digital, print, and environmental platforms across various industries. With a Master's in Architecture from Virginia Tech and a solid foundation in art & design, Bileg is skilled at bringing projects to life through thoughtful problem-solving and meaningful collaboration.

Bileg and Joshua met on the first day of graduate school, fast made best friends and studio mates, Bileg was a natural fit to join Thresholds Design.
